Series Venue Is: Smallbrook Stadium, Ryde.Changing and showering facilities are available on the ground floor. Please leave muddy shoes outside.
All races start at 11:00 prompt.
Minimum age for entry is 15 years.
UK Athletics Cross Country Permit.
All U20, senior & vet categories (Men and Women) will run the same 10km course.
All U17 (male & female) will run a 6.5km course, the maximum set out for U17's in the UKA rules, with a turnaround point by the duck pond on Harding Shute.
All race entries are on the day (Cash only), registration is open from 10:00, on the top floor. But we would appreciate clubs bringing a large contingent to email [email protected] with an approximate list of runners (this greatly reduces administration of entries on the day).
These Events Form a Three Race Series:
RYDE HARRIERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Race entry is the FREE to members of Ryde Harriers as it is our club championship, and only members of Ryde Harriers qualify for prizes.
Race entry for guests is £7 (cash only) (open invitation to all runners), but will not qualify for prizes. *** New for 2025, none Ryde Harriers can get 3 races for the price of 2. ***
ISLE OF WIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Race entry for all runners is £7 (cash only), all runners qualify for prizes.
ARTHUR BIGGS HANDICAP
Race entry for all runners is £7 (cash only).
Entrants MUST have competed & finished at least one of races 1 & 2 in the series to be able to run. Your best finish time for races 1 & 2 is used to calculate your handicap start time for race 3.
Runners will have individual start times, based on your handicap; it is your responsibility to be at the start line in time for your start. Start times will be available at registration.
