About this Event
The Isiġvik (Fur Ruff, Iñupiaq) Workshop will be led by Iñupiaq Master Artist Bobby (Brower) Itta, who will teach participants how to make their very own fur ruff. Bobby, who was born and raised in Utqiagvik and is the designer and owner of Arctic Luxe, will be sharing her pattern and techniques for creating a beautiful parka ruff.
Participants must agree to attend all 5 days of the workshop to enroll. The workshop will take place on Monday-Friday September 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
T ICKETS:
- A ges 16-18: Select the "Age 16-18: Isiġvik Workshop" ticket type when registering.
- Ages 25 and above: Select "Adult: Isiġvik Workshop" ticket type.
Please ensure that you select the correct ticket type when registering. This free workshop will be held at the Alaska Native Heritage Center (ANHC). Materials will be provided. Tickets will be released on Saturday, September 21st, at 12PM.
