Step into a dreamlike soundscape on Thursday, November 14th at The Retreat Hotel, as Isabelle Skye (full band) celebrates the release of her shimmering new single "Kaleidoscope".
Blending the warmth of retro pop with the intimacy of modern indie, Isabelle draws inspiration from the likes of Clairo, Tennis, and Margo Guryan. Kaleidoscope captures the dizzying rush of falling for someone whose words don’t quite match their actions — a bittersweet anthem for those caught between promise and uncertainty. With lush melodies, hypnotic grooves, and heartfelt lyricism, Isabelle and her full band bring the track to life on stage in technicolour.
Helping bring the party to life are Butternut Sweetheart and CCTV.
Butternut Sweetheart is the music of two strangers unwittingly and simultaneously moved into a ghost town. With little else to distract them, they bonded over their love for the piano and beautifully written indie music. After spending a decade each in service of the music of others as producers, writers and session musicians, Luke and Jazz shift their collective focus and talents to butternut sweetheart.
CCTV is the solo project of singer/songwriter and guitarist Courtney Constantinou (Gold minds) - a summoning of her favourite sounds and spirits of the moody broody alt/rock n roll kind. It is an ode to past lives, dreams and nostalgia that is guided by intuition, the natural world and a deep Curiosity of the heart.
