About this Event
Isabel Hagen is a stand up comedian and classically trained violist whose credits speak for themselves. She has performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon multiple times and was selected as a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs festival in Montréal.
Before she ever grabbed a mic, Isabel earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in viola performance from the Juilliard School. As a violist she has performed in the orchestra for several Broadway productions and worked with artists such as Björk, Max Richter, and Steve Reich.
On stage Isabel mixes smart, personal stand up with the kind of musical talent you rarely see in a comedy club. Sometimes she keeps the viola in its case. Sometimes she brings it out and things get even more fun.
