Join ISA and WCO for a 3 part workshop to celebrate the strong women around us and to give back to those in need in our community.
About this Event

Come join us for a 3 part workshop hosted by Indomitable Spirit Academy and the Women's Calishthenics Organization, to celebrate the indomitable spirit of all the women in our community!

Main components of the day will include:

Basic Women's Self Defense led by Vivian Javier - Vivian has been practising martial arts for over 20 years, has a black belt in TKD, competed in Muay Thai and is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training at Martial Art Fitness Academy.
Calisthenics Skills with Janie Stel - Janie is a Calisthenics coach with 20 years of movement experience including 12 years in competitive gymnastics and 6 years competing across North America and Europe. Her current focus is on coaching clients in person and online, leading empowering workshops and supporting the sport of Calisthenics through national and international comepetition organizations.
Handstand Skills with Naomi Campbell - Naomi is a Toronto-based yoga instructor and movement coach specializing in hand-balance, inversions, and flexibility. She learned handstands as an adult with no prior experience and has since trained with circus coaches and performers from all around the world, gathering knowledge and experience to host her own international handstand & flexibility workshops.

Proceeds will be going to Embrave - a local women's shelter in Mississauga. If you are unable to attend but still want to support you can do so by selecting the donation button and all the proceeds will be sent to Embrave after the event.
