On 14th May 2024, the team at Brabners will be delivering a session on safeguarding your tech startup from common legal pitfalls as you prepare to raise investment.
The interactive session will delve deeper into important considerations that founders need to keep in mind when it comes to their commercial contracts and contractual agreements.
Do you have the right protections in place and a strong compliance set up to protect your data? The team will also shine a light on the reality of a due diligence process conducted by law firms on behalf of investors and provide you with crucial insight on how to have your ducks in a row.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and also network with other founders and peers.
Natalie Hardman, Brabners

Natalie is a commercial lawyer who specialises in intellectual property (IP) law. She handles issues such as negotiating and drafting a variety of commercial agreements and terms of business, as well as assisting with commercial and IP due diligence examinations, dealing with IP audits, the protection and registration of IP and exploitation and licensing of IP.

Natalie also handles contentious issues such as IP enforcement and infringement disputes, passing off claims, company name and domain name disputes, and third-party oppositions.

Eleanore Beard, Brabners

Eleanore is a commercial lawyer who specialises in data protection. Eleanore is a qualified “Data Protection Practitioner” and has extensive experience of acting as a Data Protection Officer for clients and in-house. Eleanore is skilled at implementing privacy programmes and frameworks to help clients comply with the data protection legislation.
