About this Event
We are pleased to announce our annual PGR conference in person with live talks, posters, food, drinks and discussions! Meanwhile, we aim to accommodate some talks delivered remotely in hybrid modes. This year we are hosting an off-campus day of presentations for all PGR, all supervisors and other interested staff on Tuesday 14th May. This will be held at the Hilton Liverpool City Centre. This will be following a student only day (on campus at Nicholson Teaching Studio/Jane Herdman Lecture Theatre - TBC) on Monday 13th May.
We have committed substantial resources to provide this off-campus full day event for staff and students, thus it is really important that the supervisors and their PhD students engage with the event if we are to be able to continue to fund something like this in the future. All PhD students and staff are expected to attend. Please add the event to your calendar, register on Eventbrite and join us in May.
Please note, the deadline to Register on Eventbrite below is the same date as the Abstract Submission, Sunday 31st March.
Types of presentations
Short talks of 3 minutes and 8 minutes will be given respectively by Year 1 and Year 3 PGR students from across the School, pitched at an accessible level. There will also be a poster session onsite for Year 2 PGRs to present. All PGR students are expected to participate and have chances of winning an award for presentations.
