About this Event
The session will draw upon the work of Zohar Dina Glouberman, who coined the name ‘ImageWork’ to define the essence of how we can use our Active Imagination for our own good.
When we are feeling stressed about an upcoming event, or wondering how we will cope in the day ahead, it can be difficult to feel good about ourselves. In this session, you will learn about and have the chance to practice a short exercise called ‘Visioning’ which has a wide range of uses in everyday life.
ESSENTIAL
- 18 years old and over
- Able to respect time boundaries even if you have more to say, so that everyone who wishes to comment on their experience with 'Visioning' can do so.
DESIRABLE:
- Able to look inside yourself and reflect honestly on your feelings, motives and actions even if you do not share these with the group.
- Able to take responsibility for keeping yourself safe, especially during group feedback.
- Able to make a sound judgement about what to share and what not to share out loud during group feedback.
- Possess a sense of spirituality and / or a belief in a force in the Universe which has the best interests of all living beings as its purpose.
The total ticket price is £7.22 (£5.91 ticket plus £1.31 Eventbrite booking fee).

Jenny: Yvonne kindly did a 4-minute one-to-one ImageWork session with me prior to a talk I was giving to an audience. I found this to be very relaxing and reassuring and the talk went better than I had ever anticipated. I included points in my talk which I hadn’t considered previously and which the audience found interesting and memorable. I feel that this was as a direct result of the ImageWork exercise.
Jane: I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I decided to try a 1:1 Visioning session with Yvonne, but it turned out to be an incredibly positive and powerful experience. Through the process, I became aware of underlying thoughts and patterns that had been holding me back – things I hadn’t fully recognised before. Even more importantly, I came away with a clear sense of how to begin moving past those mental blocks and towards a goal which before then had felt out of reach.
