About this Event
The Is It Me? event series was designed to fill a void in professional development and advancement opportunities for women of color. Many of us have navigated our careers absent a support system that acknowledges the invisible barriers, microaggressions, and disparate treatment that often underpin professional environments. Through the Is It Me? Series, we set out to validate our lived experiences and share tailored resources and tactics to better equip other women of color in maneuvering within their own business endeavors.
This year's discussion examines whether women of color can really be their authentic selves in the workplace and, if so, how to go about it. Our keynote speaker is Janet M. Stoval, a global C-suite executive, TED Talk presenter, author, and consultant, who helps businesses do what she believes only business can do: dismantle systemic inequity, especially where it intersects with race.
There'll be cocktails, music, food, and networking, all against the brilliant backdrop of the ZuCot Art Gallery in the heart of Atlanta - you won't want to miss this one!
