About this Event
We know that approximately two-thirds of Americans favor the U.S. taking steps to become carbon neutral by 2050, a goal outlined by President Joe Biden at the outset of his administration. But does this shared hope translate to decisions at the ballot box? When it comes to key races and contentious campaigns, is climate a winning issue?
2024 will be a crucial election year across the globe – and climate will be on the ballot time and time again. But where do voters stand? Have young people shifted their attention elsewhere? Who stands to lose if climate gets decentered from campaigns across the country?
On May 8th, Elise Joshi (Executive Director, Gen Z for Change) and Caroline Spears (Executive Director, Climate Cabinet) will be coming to Manny's to answer these questions and talk all things climate and voters. We can't wait to see you there!
