About this Event
Artists Against Apartheid and the Palestinian Youth Movement invite artists, cultural workers, and anyone moved by creative resistance to join us for a three-part political education series exploring the role of revolutionary art in anti-imperialist struggle.
Across three sessions, we’ll come together to study, reflect, and create. Through collective learning, discussion, and hands-on practice, we’ll explore how artists and movements around the world have used art as a tool for resistance, from Palestine to Oakland and beyond. We’ll look at how art helps us stand together, survive, fight back, and imagine new worlds.
Session 2 is a workshop focused on crafting galvanizing messages and accessible ways to create visuals – practical tools that can be taken into the streets and used in collective action.
This series is for anyone interested in the intersection of art and revolutionary struggle, whether you're a practicing artist or just beginning to explore how your creativity connects to collective liberation. Our goal is to sharpen our politics and raise our consciousness in community.
