About this Event
This year, the competition heads to Willow on Grand for an unforgettable evening of wine, food, and friendly rivalry. Watch as Nick McManus of Okoboji Wines goes head-to-head with sommelier Carly Dascoli of Oak Park, battling it out over the perfect wine pairings.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated five-course dinner prepared by Aaron Holt of Doolittle Farms and Pernilla Werninger of Tangerine Food Co.
The evening begins with a reception featuring wines and passed appetizers. Then the competition begins: for each course, the sommeliers select wines they believe best complement the dish. As you dine, you’ll cast your vote, helping determine which pairing truly shines. The winner? The one who earns your palate’s approval.
