Irish Research Radiation Oncology Group (IRROG) Conference

The Irish Research Radiation Oncology Group (IRROG) was established in January 2022 to unite all research-active radiotherapy departments across Ireland with a shared commitment to advancing radiation oncology research in Ireland. With support from the Health Research Board Cancer Trials Group Scheme 2022–2026, IRROG is focused on strengthening Ireland’s radiotherapy research infrastructure by investing in key personnel, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that every patient has greater access to innovative clinical trials.

Our vision is to elevate the standard of radiotherapy care by delivering world-class, high-quality clinical trials, driving Irish-initiated research, and building a strong portfolio of international collaborations. Through this work, we aim to transform outcomes and improve the quality of treatment for all radiotherapy patients nationwide.

This conference will showcase leading voices in radiation oncology, with national and international experts delivering keynote lectures and sessions dedicated to clinical trials, patient partnership, research innovation, and academic leadership.

Info: Registration opens at 08.30 am with welcome reception serving tea, coffee, pastries. An opportunity for delegates to meet with peers and colleagues before the Opening Address at 09.00am by former Taoiseach Mr Enda Kenny.
