Sunday 8 March, 2026
2-6 pm
The Pines, 5 Aspen Dr
South Burlington, VT 05403
The Pines senior housing in South Burlington will be the scene for a rousing performance of traditional and modern songs by the RambleTree duo of Reagh Greenleaf and Dan Brown, celebrating the story of Ireland.
As a preface at 2 pm, Liam McKone presents an overview of the history about restoring the independence of Ireland. Many well-known songs relate to this fight against British rule, so it will provide some context of their origin. The concert follows from 3-6 pm.
Original Celtic art t-shirts and other merchandise will be available for purchase from the band.
McKone’s biography of Captain John Lonergan, Vermont’s Irish Rebel, will be on sale at a reduced price in honor of the celebrations. Lonergan was the state leader of the Fenian Brotherhood.
RSVP required for access to the building; contact McKone at [email protected]
to be put on the list.
Detailed instructions about the location and parking will be provided in response. Seating is limited, so sign up early!
Free; $5 donation to the band is encouraged
