Join us for an evening of Irish Music & Dance at Mountain City Traditional Arts in Frostburg. Madalyn Higgins will teach basic Irish dance steps and Ceili dances to live music by Jeff & Myles Thomas.During the workshop, participants will learn basic solo steps and footwork to show off at upcoming St. Patrick’s Day festivities! The second half of the workshop will be dedicated to Ceili (social) dances. Higgins will teach a series of figures and steps to dance as a group, all while dancing to delightful tunes from Jeff & Myles.
This workshop is open to all ages and dance backgrounds. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, such as tennis shoes or leather sole shoes.
