Clatter is a small live music venue in Frostburg, MD, with good vibes, good sound, and a pretty much guaranteed good time. Enjoy our coffee bar, cocktail bar, food menu, beer and wine. Keep in mind, all those delicious espresso drinks can be made decaf. The focus is music and socializing. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks are available.
Doors open at six, music at seven. Come early and stay late.
Aristotle Jones, often called the "appalachian soul man," has passed this way before. Sometimes he tours with a large band, a lot of brass. This leg of the tour is what he calls a "storyteller's tour." Aristotle plays by himself or with a stripped down band and shares a window into where some of these songs have come from: which is, quite often, Osage: the unincorporated West Virginia community where he's from, and where his roots run deep.
