Sometimes sweet, sometimes dark, but always funny - join award-winning Irish comedian John O'Keeffe as he explains his chequered dating life, impossible family, self-diagnosed ADHD and his flimsy, threadbare hopes for the future.

About John O'Keeffe:

John has established himself as one of the most exciting stand-ups emerging in the Irish comedy scene. Winner of the "Best New Act" Award at the 2019 Bray Comedy Festival, John has been featured on Irish TV and radio, and is a contributing writer to The God Pod Twitter account. Praised for his likability, comedy writing and stage presence, he has performed with top comedians like David O'Doherty, Michelle Wolf, Joanne McNally, Rosie O'Donnell, and Bobcat Goldthwait, and regularly gigs across Europe.

In 2019 he brought a show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and debuted a new show at the Scene and Heard festival in 2022, and again in 2023. He also brought two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2023 and 2024, and three in 2025. He opened for Steve Hofstetter on his 2024 European Tour, and was on his own European tour earlier this year. He has also been tour support for Mike Rice, Willa White, and Amos Gill.

• The show takes place at de Schuur ("the Shed") a cosy private theatre close to the Louis Hartlooper at Ledig, Erf, Utrecht.
• Doors open: 19:30, Showtime: 20:00
• Running time: approx 2 hours (including a break)
• Drinks will be available before the performance and during the break
• Recommended age: 16+
• Space is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment
