About this Event
Ireland BIomethane - the pathway to 2030
This Conference marks a paradigm shift in the development of agri-feedstock based AD biomethane production here. Moving from concept to implementation, Ireland is mobilising and gearing up to deliver the National Biomethane Strategy and achieve the national decarbonisation target of 5.7TWh of indigenous, agri-based biomethane production by 2030, supporting Ireland’s Climate Action Plan and sectoral targets. This also aligns with national bioeconomy and biodiversity policies.
To support those taking action the event will afford a deep dive into Financing and Funding, Planning, Licensing and Permitting, Technology and Construction and Feedstock.
Over 300 Delegates
Meet the Engineers, Farmers, Developers, Planners, Financiers, Technologists, Researchers, Regulators and Administrators, who are keen to collaborate and encourage partnerships, to realise the decarbonisation ambition, which will also optimise wider environmental and socio-economic benefits for agriculture, industry and communities.

We have worked closely with our members and with the Government of Ireland on the National Biomethane Strategy, and the Renewable Heat Obligation Scheme and we look forward to continuing to provide cohesion through sectoral and member representation across the full supply chain , facilitating collaboration and strategic approaches, during development and delivery, with a roadmap to 2030.
