~There will be interactive activities where you can make enrichment toys for the shelter animals
~Take a tour of the shelter
~Come and ask all the questions you've always wanted to ask about TNR (trap/neuter/release) programs here at the shelter
~We will open early for adoptions

~Take part in our 5th Annual Kitten Shower which will also take place at the event... with fun opportunities to name kittens who will be born at the shelter or while in foster care!
~Come see bottle-baby demo's by shelter fosters and staff to demonstrate the care that both shelter staff and foster caregivers provide to those tinies who come to the shelter without their mama's!
~The Garden Fair by NCCES Iredell's Master Gardeners will also be happening at the same time right in front of our shelter, so make sure to stop in at NC Cooperative Extension to visit their multiple vendors while you are here!
