The Ipswich 3 Hour opens the 2026 season at Queensland Raceway, bringing together a diverse field of cars and teams ready to go wheel-to-wheel in a true test of performance and execution.
The race will feature a Le Mans-inspired start, with cars lined up on an angle in pit lane and co-drivers positioned opposite. On the signal, co-drivers will run to their cars, signal their driver to go, and the field will roll out under controlled conditions.
With pit stops, driver changes and race management all playing a role, this is proper endurance racing from the outset of the season.
A strong field is expected as teams look to start their championship campaigns on the front foot.
