We are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive Ipsus Masterclass led by Giovanni Mazzei, President of the Marchesi Mazzei company, showcasing a four vintage vertical tasting of Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Ipsus Il Caggio.

Ipsus is a single vineyard estate planted with Sangiovese, located in Il Caggio, a remote localita, in the Chianti Classico hills. There are six plots, within a 6.5 hectare clos, perched on the top of a hill, surrounded by Tuscan forest and wild life. In 2006, the Mazzei family purchased 150 hectares surrounding the Castellina hamlet north of Siena. The family have been making wine since the 1400s and were interested by the 50 hectares of vines planted within the estate. Until the 2015 vintage, the grapes from the Ipsus plot had been used for other wines made by the Mazzei family, however Giovanni Mazzei was inspired by the incredible quality of these grapes to produce a single vineyard wine. Giovanni represents the 25th generation of the Mazzei family to make wine in Tuscany and is incredibly proud to present Ipsus in Hong Kong.

• Reservations are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Corney and Barrow.

• In exceptional cases, Corney and Barrow may need to cancel a booking made by the guest due to weather, or other reasons. In these cases, guests will be reimbursed for the price of the original booking (excluding booking fee).
