Only abstracts accepted for presentation at the conference will be eligible for publication consideration. Papers presented at the meeting will be subject to editorial review and considered for inclusion in a post-conference volume of the IPES Book Series, Advances in Police Theory and Practice.

The conference will take place in Lisbon, Portugal’s vibrant capital, renowned for its rich history, architecture, gastronomy, and lively cultural scene. The scientific program will be complemented by a carefully curated social agenda designed to foster connection and cultural immersion.

Participants will be accommodated at the Exe Liberdade Hotel, offering a comfortable and central setting throughout the conference. Social events will include guided visits to iconic historical landmarks, curated cultural experiences, and opportunities to explore Portugal’s unique natural and architectural heritage, creating a balanced rhythm between intensive scientific sessions and shared social moments.
