Iowa's water quality is among the worst in the nation. Water quality challenges impact the health and well being of Iowans who require safe drinking water and clean lakes, rivers and streams. Join us to hear from David M. Cwiertny, Ph.D. who will provide an overview of the current state of Iowa's water resources, focusing on challenges at the intersection of water quality, public health, and quality of life in Iowa. He will provide examples of how Iowa's neighbor states are cleaning up their waters.
This event is in-person at the Iowa City Public Library Meeting Room A, and will also be streamed live on the ICPL YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/thelibrarychannel
