Iowa Valley's National Honor Society is excited to host it's annual Community Service Day—an afternoon dedicated to giving back to our community!
From 1–3 PM on Friday, May 1, our students and staff will roll up their sleeves to help local residents, businesses, and organizations with a variety of outdoor and spring-cleaning projects.
We’re accepting project requests!

Examples of tasks we can help with include:
• Picking up litter or debris
• Painting (sheds, decks, etc.)
• Pressure washing
• Landscaping, raking, or clearing brush
• Moving items to the curb or dumpster
Priority will be given to individuals who are elderly, disabled, or nonprofit organizations.
Highlights from past Community Service Days include:
🖌️ Painting at local churches and care facilities
🌳 Cleaning up city parks and community spaces
⚾ Prepping athletic fields for spring sports
🚁 Painting helipad lines and fire hydrants
🏛️ Volunteering at museums and local nonprofits
