Special campground programs are provided throughout the summer at Coralville Lake. Please join us for the first campground program of the season – Iowa Raptor Project Program! Attendees will get an up-close introduction to the raptors and learn more about each raptor species. The program will take place at West Overlook Day Use Area, 4065 Prairie Du Chien RD NE, Iowa City IA 52240. Please plan to arrive by 6:50 PM to grab a spot as the program will start promptly at 7 PM. For the safety of the birds, no other animals (including dogs) are allowed to be present during the program.
This event is free to attend but parking fees apply for the West Overlook Day Use Area. Vehicles will need to pay $5 at the fee machine before entering and display the receipt on their dash. Campers with a valid orange hang tag displayed do not need to pay the fee. Individuals with America the Beautiful passes or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers boat ramp passes displayed do not need to pay the fee.
