Iowa Office of Innovation GAP Pitch Competition

The Office of Innovation GAP Pitch Competition is a competitive showcase of faculty-led, early-stage innovations emerging from across the University of Iowa, designed to accelerate the translation of research into high-impact startups.

Featuring two categories—Therapeutics and Medical Devices—up to ten faculty teams will pitch their pre-company concepts to a distinguished panel of venture capitalists and industry thought leaders from the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical device ecosystems.

The event awards up to $25,000 in non-dilutive funding per category and highlights the university’s growing culture of entrepreneurship, commercialization, and translational impact across Iowa.
