About this Event
What does your engineering career actually look like — and what could it become?
INWED Toronto 2026 is a full-day conference for engineers and engineering students at every stage, hosted by Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Toronto on International Women in Engineering Day.
This is SWE Toronto's very first full-day conference for INWED and we've built it for every engineer in the room, regardless of where they are in their journey. Whether you're a student figuring out your next step, an early-career engineer navigating your first few years, or an experienced professional wondering what comes next, this day is being built for you.
Under the theme "Build Your Path: Redefining Engineering Careers," we're bringing together engineers, founders, researchers, and leaders for honest, practical conversations about the many ways a career in engineering can unfold. The message at the heart of everything: there is no single right path. Only the path that works for you.
Your ticket includes a full programmed day, a breakfast, and lunch.
Who this is for
This event is intentionally mixed. Every session is designed to be valuable whether you're in your first year of engineering school or your twentieth year in the field.
- Students and new grads — find out what the path ahead actually looks like from people who are living it.
- Early-career engineers (1–5 years) — validate your choices, expand your options, and build your network.
- Experienced engineers (5+ years) — share what you've learned and rediscover what's possible.
