You are invited to join us on April 12, 2025, at the FDR Memorial to mark the 80th anniversary of FDR's passing with a discussion and wreath laying.
Guest speaker: James Benton, Ph.D., Kalmanovitz Initiative, Georgetown University
RSVP: The event is free and open to the public, but it will help us know how many to expect. RSVP by April 10th. Upon request, ASL can be provided. Click to request ASL by April 2. We will do our best to accomodate any ASL requests after April 2.
Location: The FDR Memorial is located at 1850 West Basin Drive, SW, DC. We will meet on the grass in the horseshoe area at the entrance. Limited street parking is available on Ohio Drive, SW. The closest metro is Smithsonian, which is 1.1 miles from the Memorial.
Rain Date: April 13 at 2 PM. We will alert people who RSVP'd via email and post on Instagram.
Accessibility: Power outlets are available in the restrooms to charge electric wheelchairs.
