About Our Speakers: Dave Rubin & Gadi Taub
Dave Rubin is a New York Times bestselling author, comedian, and TV personality best known for his political commentary. He is the host of The Rubin Report, a top-ranking talk show with over 1 billion views and millions of subscribers discussing politics, polarizing issues, current events, and more. Rubin began his career as a stand up comedian. He accompanied Jordan Peterson on an international speaking tour where they addressed hundreds of thousands of people across three continents. In an effort to combat big tech censorship, Rubin and his Israeli brother-in-law, Assaf Lev, founded Locals.com, now owned by Rumble. Locals is a subscription-based digital platform that empowers creators to be independent by giving them control over their content and data. Rubin currently resides in Miami with his husband, two children and their rescue dog Clyde.
Gadi Taub is a leading Israeli writer and journalist for Haaretz. He was born in Jerusalem in 1965 and studied at the Hebrew University’s high school. He served as a radio presenter and also as a TV presenter of The Israeli Educational Television. Taub is a graduate of Tel Aviv University in history and interdisciplinary studies and holds a PhD from Rutgers University in the United States. He teaches at the Department of Communications and at the School of Public Policy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has written six young adults books, three fiction books, including a collection of stories, and five non-fiction books. Taub is the recipient of the Zeev Prize for Children’s Literature for the year 2000. His book Allenby was adapted for a television series. He takes part in various podcasts, radio and television programs and is co-editor of the literary magazine Mikarov.
