Did you know Invermere is a very popular destination year-round? Sitting between two popular hot spring destinations on the edge of the Canadian Rockies, it’s only 2 hours from the Montana / Idaho US border; about 5 hours from Vernon and Chase, BC, or Spokane, WA; under 6 hours from Missoula, MT; and about 9 hours from Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA. You can also fly to Calgary, AB, and enjoy a 3-hour drive passing through the Rockies and Banff National Park. This is a destination dance, so in addition to the dancing on Friday night and Saturday morning and evening, there is free time to enjoy the area and get to know the other dancers. Explore the town, relax in the scenic Fairmont or Radium Hot Springs, or join our fun group golf game.
We will be dancing in the beautiful “Columbia Valley Centre” (https://invermere.net/community/community-centre/) with a wonderful dance floor and lots of room and air conditioning.
