Join NPS staff to remove and bag invasive vines (mile-a-minute and porcelain berry) from around the marsh and pond areas!Meeting Point: In front of the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Visitor Center.
Parking/transport: The parking lot is currently closed, but you can park along Anacostia Avenue NE and enter the park here. The park is also walking distance from Deanwood Metro Station.
Time: 10:00am - 12:30pm
What to wear/bring: wear sturdy closed-toe shoes, pants, long sleeves, and bring water. All supplies and instruction will be provided.
*All volunteers will receive a fee-free coupon to visit any participating federal recreation or visitor site for free on one day within a year in honor of National Public Lands Day.*
