Bladensburg, get ready—we’re bringing the parade to YOU! 🎉This year’s Bladensburg Day Parade is bigger, longer, and more exciting than ever, with a brand-new starting point and an extended route covering nearly 1.8 miles through our town.
Date: Saturday, October 18
Parade: 10:00–11:00 AM (starting at Bladensburg High School)
Festival: 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at David C. Harrington Park (Bladensburg Town Hall)
Parade Route Highlights
Start: Bladensburg High School
Down 58th Street – passing Capital View Apartments, Gateway Gardens, Bladensburg Commons, and Park View Apartments
Left onto Emerson Street – waving hello to Emerson House & Autumn Woods
Left on 57th Avenue – greeting Seton Square, then right back onto Emerson Street
Left onto 56th Place – passing the Blue Water Tower
Left on 56th Avenue – heading behind Bladensburg High School
Right onto Tilden Road – bringing cheer to Sunnybrook residents
Finish: David C. Harrington Park – where the festival begins!
