Kick off Invasive Species Awareness Day with our interactive LoterÃa Trail Game! Explore the trails, match clues about invasive species to the correct pictures on your game board, and learn fun facts about protecting our local ecosystems. Come early to enjoy the game before the speaker session!
Trail Cleanup
Date: Sunday, February 22nd
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Meet at the Nature Center
Help maintain our trails and keep Ray Harral Park beautiful! Join staff and volunteers of all ages to remove invasive plants and make a positive impact on the park.
What to Bring:
Gloves
Water bottle
Shovels & shears (optional, for bonus points!)
Wear long sleeves, closed-toed shoes, and be ready to get a little dirty!
Invasive Plant Basket Weaving
Date: Saturday, February 21st
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Stick around after the cleanup for a creative craft using invasive vines to make baskets.
All ages are welcome (volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
Let’s come together to learn, explore, and give back, making Ray Harral Park even more beautiful!
