Join UF/IFAS Extension Nassau County's W**d Wrangle! As part of the Florida CISMA Group, First Coast Invasive Working Group, our agency is sponsoring a removal event to remove asparagus fern, an invasive plant (asparagus athiopicus). This helps local dune wildlife thrive. Animals such as gopher tortoises, and more depend on native plants, but the asparagus fern are stealing space and nutrients from those native plants.
