We have been invited back to the Avery Farmhouse at Coogan Farm for another Walk and Invasive Plant TASTING event. Turn invasive plants into dinner with The 3 Foragers. You will learn to identify, harvest, and cook problematic species so you can fight invasives with your fork! Walk Coogan Farm with expert foragers to spot invasives then return to the kitchen for a tasting meal showcasing how you can use these unexpected ingredients. In case of heavy rain, there will be an indoor slideshow presentation followed by the tasting.

The 3 Foragers are a family from southeastern Connecticut who have spent over 21 years exploring the edible plants and fungi of New England. They focus on identifying, photographing, and cooking with both native and invasive species, promoting a family-friendly and environmentally sustainable approach to foraging.
