Bell Creek is 25 acres of protected functioning salmon habitat that is frequented by a portion of the Nooksack herd of Roosevelt elk, bald eagles, and other native wildlife. It includes 1,800 feet nNearly one-third of a mile) of forest along the creek and North Fork Nooksack side channels. It was protected in 2006 with grant money from the Salmon Recovery Funding Board.
