Join resident herbalist and green witch Flora Deadwick for a hands-on workshop on the principles of blending your own herbal teas using the power of intuition. Teas are an excellent way to provide deep healing in accessible ways. Participants will leave with a bag of their own intuitively blended loose-leaf herbal tea to enjoy at home. No herbalism knowledge required; beginners welcome.
What Is Intuitive Herbal Tea Blending?
Intuitive herbal tea blending is a perspective on herbal tea blending that allows us to tap into our
inner wisdom and the “wise woman/man/person within” and create tea blends that nourish the
body, mind, and spirit. Everyone accesses their intuition differently to decide which herbs and
what amount of them to include in a delicious tea blend; some folks utilize meditation and
prayer, while others like to use divinatory tools such as pendulums, tarot or oracle cards, and
dowsing/muscle testing.
Why Intuitive Herbal Tea Blending?
Using our intuition helps us to trust ourselves and build resilience. It also helps us connect with
the subconscious and unconscious aspects of our minds where wisdom can live beyond our
doubts and fears. In the realm of herbalism, intuition (when supplemented by research,
understanding of herbal contraindications, and the advice of medical professionals) can help us
find remedies that may be right for us, and help us better understand ourselves and the healing
plants.
Flora Deadwick is a trained herbalist and green witch, specializing in hand-crafted herbal teas. Though she works with people experiencing a variety of conditions, she is particularly passionate about nervous system health and resilience. She believes that herbalism is a powerful conduit for healing the body, mind, and soul, and that the plants can help each of us more deeply with our own unique spiritual path.
This class will take place in the Deadwick's Common Room. It begins at 6pm and will run for one and a half hours. Please enter through the front of Deadwick's upon arrival, at 19 Sheafe St. and allow time for parking. Please call us at 603-319-6946 if you are running late.
