An integration of Yoga and Dance mindfulness and movement practices to embody freedom, reconnect to our intuition and the Earth.
About this Event

PURPOSE: An integration of Yoga and Dance mindfulness and movement practices to embody freedom and reconnect to our intuition. A place to build community and connect to the Earth.

WHO SHOULD JOIN: Those who are interested in building community and connection to the Earth through dance, yoga, and mindfulness practices. What's in our wallet should not be what's stopping us from taking care of ourselves and connecting with humans who are like minded with open hearts. All classes will be on a donation basis or a sliding scale to provide accessible classes to those who are truly seeking a practice for an affordable price. AND all in-person classes will be held at local parks within the Northeast LA area. Please feel free to share with your loved ones. I thank you in advance for sharing space and building community with me!

WHAT WE WILL DO: We will meet at Hermon Park near Highland Park-Los Angeles. (Park location may shift in future events) Intuitive Dance Meditation class will be taught for 1.5 hours and those who are interested in building community can stay to connect with other attendees. Bring water, a yoga mat (or blanket), comfortable clothes, snacks or a light meal to picnic after with the community.

ABOUT THE CLASS: Intuitive Dance Meditation uses the art form of dance as the primary medium of discovering self-awareness and mindfulness. Dancing through seven primary areas of mindfulness in motion: breath, sound, body, story, mind, spirit, and fusion (of all elements), with a respect to the attitudes of mindfulness, participants tap into their body’s own healing resources and realize that we all have a unique creativity just waiting to be cultivated.

Class will be led by Tasheena Medina. Learn more about her below.
