Dip into Botanical Watercolour Painting with Lucy Gray, as she instructs with calm & intentionality. No skills or experience needed! Class limited to 8 students and is strictly for ages 16 years and over. This 3 hour immersive workshop is an introduction to the art of botanical watercolour painting. We will look at some real life samples of native Australian botanical plants & flowers while learning the following:
- how to mix + apply watercolour to a botanical subject matter
- botanical watercolour painting exercises
- And complete your own botanical watercolour painting to take home in its own frame, ready to hang!
Lucy instructs her students in a calm and intentional manner, ensuring individual attention within group instruction.
Lucy is an experienced Fine Artist and holds a BA(FA) Bachelor of Fine Art. She recently completed her art residency at Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah and spends her time painting in her home studio and teaching others.
THIS WORKSHOP IS A FEEDER WORKSHOP FOR MY INTERMEDIATE BOTANICAL WATERCOLOURS WORKSHOP, so completing this workshop is required before attending my intermediate workshop.
