About this Event
Introduction to Youth Trauma Treatments
By the age of 16, more than two-thirds of children report experiencing at least one traumatic event. Child traumatic stress can impact a youth’s relationships with family and peers, functioning at school, physical health, and emotional regulation. This training will introduce three different evidenced based treatments that are effective in treating youth with traumatic stress: Prolonged Exposure for Adolescents (PE-A); Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma (ITCT).
