Woodcut is a relief printing process that involves creating an image by using gouges to carve away the block and then inking the remaining raised areas to create a print. This workshop explores the basics of woodcut printing, including image development, carving and inking techniques, and printing by hand. Participants will create a small edition of 4×6 prints.
