About this Event
Intro to Wilderness Safety
The purpose of “Intro to Wilderness Safety” is to motivate individuals to get outdoors and explore the wild places of Colorado responsibly. Intro to Wilderness Safety is targeted towards outdoor adventurers of all skill levels. This course is meant to supply outdoor recreationalists with confidence and foundational knowledge of wilderness risk assessment, route planning, outdoor decision making, and basic land navigation. This is not an outdoor survival class- but instead a rudimentary safety and planning course for single-day outdoor adventures.
