About this Event
“Introduction to Wet Felting” invites participants to engage themselves in an experimental fibre workshop led by artist Miao Liu and Shoes Off Collective, where time is not just observed, but actively shaped and felt. Participants will explore the ancient craft of wet felting, learning techniques to transform raw fibers into a collective tapestry. This experience invites reflection on personal narratives and memories, connecting participants through the art of collaboration.

About the facilitator:
Shoes Off Collective (@shoesoffcollective) is a community for Asian-identifying OCAD U students and alumni to connect as friends and co-creators through art, design, identity, culture, activism and social issues. We hangout together, eat together, make together and work towards building a supportive and connected network of creatives.
Miao Xuan Liu (@liaomiu) is an emerging sculptor based in Tkaronto.
