A Gentle 2-Hour Introduction to Watercolor by award-winning Watercolorist; Tina WilliamsDiscover the magic of water + pigment (and why less is often more). In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn the core watercolor techniques and leave with a small finished piece and the confidence to keep painting at home. Total beginners and “it’s-been-years” dabblers. No drawing experience needed—promise!
You’ll learn
How to choose & hold brushes (and when to switch sizes)
Water-to-paint ratios (transparent vs. juicy vs. inky)
Flat & graded washes, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry
Soft blends, dry-brush texture, and lifting highlights
Simple color mixing (how not to make mud)
A mini project: loose florals or a tiny landscape (your pick)
What’s included
All supplies provided (paper, paints, palettes, professional brushes). Step-by-step demos, take-home reference sheet, and lots of friendly coaching. Please don’t bring outside supplies so we’re all on the same page.
What you’ll take home
A finished 5×7 mini painting (florals or landscape)
A technique “swatch sheet” you can reference later
New skills and the confidence to keep going!

Ages 12+; minors must attend with a paying adult.
Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. We start right on time to maximize the entire class!
Photos may be taken during class.
