Expressing needs, boundaries, and connection in real life | 3-hour experiential workshop for singles, couples, and practitionersAbout this Event
Would you like to feel more ease and confidence in the way you give and receive, in love, work, or daily life?
This 3-hour experiential workshop offers a simple and practical introduction to a framework that helps you create more authentic, embodied relationships with yourself and others.
WHAT THIS WORKSHOP IS ABOUT
Most people move through relationships slightly disconnected from themselves.
Saying yes too quickly.
Holding back a no.
Giving without fully choosing it.
Receiving without fully allowing it.
This workshop gives you a direct, introductory experience of what changes when you start to notice these patterns.
Using the Wheel of Consent®, developed by Dr. Betty Martin, you will begin to explore the underlying dynamics of connection, who is doing, who it is for, and what is actually happening in each interaction.
WHO THIS IS FOR
- Couples who want to deepen connection beyond communication and into lived experience
- Singles who are ready to relate and date with clarity, self-trust, and honesty
- Therapists, coaches, and practitioners who want to develop embodied awareness of boundaries, giving, and receiving
You may come alone or with a partner.
No prior experience is required.
This is a trauma-informed, fully clothed, consent-based space with clear structure and guidance.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
The Wheel of Consent® offers a simple and precise map for understanding touch, choice, and interpersonal dynamics.
Through guided practices, reflection, and structured exercises, you will begin to:
- Say “yes,” “no,” and “not yet” with more clarity
- Feel the difference between doing something for someone versus for yourself
- Notice your patterns around giving and receiving
- Stay more grounded when something feels new or unfamiliar
There will be simple partner exercises, always with choice, clear guidance, and space to notice your own experience.
WHY IT MATTERS
When you learn to listen to your body and speak from that place, relationships begin to feel more direct and less effortful.
You stop performing and start choosing.
This workshop is a doorway into a new way of relating: honest, embodied, and deeply human.
WHAT YOU WILL LEAVE WITH
- A clear introduction to the Wheel of Consent®
- Practical tools for communication and boundaries
- More awareness of your desires and limits
- A different perspective on giving, receiving, and connection
