Skill Level: Suitable for beginners with little or no knowledge of sewing as we'll start the lesson with an introduction to the sewing machine

What will you make:
Cushion cover with an invisible zip
What will you learn:
• How to thread the machine.
• Practice some straight stitching before starting on your cushion
• Understanding fabrics, grain line, seam allowances, pinning and marking fabric
• Insert an invisible zip
• finishing off all raw seams
How Long will the sewing session be: 4.5 hours
What to bring: half a meter of fabric Ideally a quilting cotton, cotton poplin, linen, canvas fabric plus a matching thread and a 45cm invisible zip (slightly smaller or bigger will also work)
Please prewash your fabric as there will be some shrinkage.
What we will supply: Sewing machine, scissors, tape measure, pins, sewing clips,& chalk
