Join us for the 3.5 hour class where you will learn the fundamentals of Stand Up Paddling. We will cover paddle strokes, trip planning, gear types, safety considerations, and more! We will start out on land going over paddle strokes and how to plan safe trips & be safe on the water. Then transition to the water to practice our newly learned skills, introduce a few more strokes to include self-rescue, and then put our skills to the test with a short tour in protected Bay waters. SUP, paddle, PFD, wet-suit, & instructor(s) included with registration; max class size is 5. recommended for ages 13+
