Welcome to the Introduction to Puppetry Workshop!
For ages 18+ only.
Join professional puppeteer Imogen Khan as she leads a day long workshop on all things puppetry! We'll be exploring the key principles that you can apply to work or auditions. Get ready to spend the day on your feet, getting feedback from Imogen and your fellow workshop attendees, and most importantly, have fun!
What the day entials:
The morning will be spent exploring key puppetry principles with inanimate objects. After lunch we'll move onto Bunkraku- style three person puppets, and finishing the day with individual time exploring a rehearsal puppet with feedback from the rest of the class.
About Imogen:
Imogen's professional puppetry credits include: the R&D, London run and UK Tour of the I Want My Hat Back Trilogy (Little Angel Theatre), Raymond Brigg's Father Christmas (Lyric Hammersmith) and working with Moth Theatre. She graduated from the European Theatre Arts course at Rose Bruford in 2021.
