Gain an understanding of what public involvement is, ways that researchers can involve members of the public, and how members of the public can get involved.
This workshop covers defining public involvement, the difference between public involvement and qualitative research, funder expectations, practicalities and includes some top tips from current public contributors
Who can attend?
Anyone with an interest in public involvement in health and social care research, including public contributors, community organisations and researchers.

We are hosting a series of workshops throughout November and December 2024, around Public and Patient Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in health and social care research. All of these events are free, but spaces are limited.
