CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Want to learn the basics of paper quilling? Danielle from Cards & Crafts will teach you how to create your own quilled flower bookmark and hanging flowers on a 5"x 7" canvas. All you need is patience and good eyesight (reading glasses!). Best for ages 12+. You'll take home your two started projects from the class, and a quilling kit with all of the components you'll need to complete these projects and others at home.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Danielle Reznick, founder and owner of Cards & Crafts, is a junior at Magruder High School (Rockville, MD). Using the technique of paper quilling, she creates unique, curious, and thought-provoking art pieces in varying sizes from canvas art to bookmarks. Danielle has participated in many local art/maker shows and completed numerous commissions. She recently participated in the 2024 Baltimore American Craft Made marketplace and SHE:DC gallery event in Georgetown DC.
